A solo exhibition of new work at the Barry Whistler Gallery, Dallas. SpLaVCe Ship is a culmination of years of delving into consistent themes around history, time, space, place, grief, constriction, and freedom. Here I have combined the Space Ship with the Slave Ship to talk about where we have been as Black folks here and throughout the diaspora, and where we are going.
